STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING WORKSHOP

The workshop focus on the reasons why such exercises should be included into a regular weekly training program. How they can be used to improve performance, reduce the likelihood for injuries and add some important variations to the weekly training program to facilitate continued adaptation. The body is only as strong as its weakest link and through the application of sport-specific and individually targeted exercises, weak areas such as, the hamstrings, lower back, abdominal core strength and shoulders can be strengthened in an effort to reduce the occurrence of injuries to these areas. The workshop will be a mix of theory and practice and it aims to enhance the understanding and application of strength and conditioning exercises into the overall training plan.
